National award winning actress Surabhi Lakshmi has recently came up with a revelation that quite surprised superstar Mohanlal.

She revealed this during a programme in a private channel. She said that she has once acted as Mohanlal’s daughter in a movie. The superstar was quite taken aback at this revelation.

It’s true. Surabhi had acted as Mohanlal’s daughter in a movie called ‘Pakal Nakshatrangal’, directed by Rajeev Nath. Even Mohanlal wasn’t aware of this until Surabhi came up with the revelation.

The movie released in 2008, and Mohanlal appeared as the father of Anoop menon and Surabhi. Nevertheless, she did not have any combination scene with Mohanlal in the movie. In fact, she had a minor role in the movie and has appeared in perhaps a single scene.

Surabhi had been in Malayalam cinema thorough such minor roles since sometime, but it’s her role in ‘Minnaminungu’ (2017), which won her a national award, that made people take notice of her acting prowess.
