Kunchacko Boban do the lead in the film to be directed by Shafi after Sherlock Toms. Benny P Nayarambalam is scripting the film.

All Shafi-Benny combinations have been hit till date. Kunchacko Boban is acting for the fifth time in a Shafi film. The other four films are Kalyana Raman, Lolipop, Make-up Man and 101 Weddings.

Of the above films, Benny had written the script for Kalyana Raman and Lollipop.

For Make-up Man, Sachi-Sethu team and for 101 Weddings, Kalavoor Ravikumar had written the script.   

Benny is writing the script for a Shafi film after a long gap. The last time he did was in Dileep-Biju Menon team’s Marikkundoru Kunjadu. The film is known to be a family entertainer.

Currently, Chackochan is acting in director Sreejith Vijayan’s Kuttanadan Marpappa. After that he will act in Ramesh Pisharadi’s Panchavarna Thatta and Soumya Sadanandan’s film. After completing these films, he will join Shafi film.

In Panchavarna thatta, along with Kunchacko Boban, Jayaram will also appear in a different role.
