KOTTAYAM: Congress leader P C Vishnunath has said in his Facebook post that BJP State secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan and CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan should together watch Eeda, which is a film based on political killings in Kannur.

A heart-touching love and politics that burns ones fingers- that is the gist of the Eeda, directed by B Ajith Kumar. The film puts CPM and Sangh Parivar in the dock for bloodbaths in Kannur. The director has approached both parties through black comedy, says Vishnunath.

In Eeda, there are characters resembling virtually braindead Pushpan to State party leaders. The dialogue that “certain party leaders come and go only during election” delivered by a wheel chair-bound character is a charge sheet against the CPM.
Vishnunath adds that the film is a sharp arrow aimed at such leaders who remembers Pushpan only at the time of filing nomination and martyrs’ day and clandestinely supports self-financing businessmen.
