THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The body of MLA K K Ramachandran Nair will be kept at the VJT Hall on Monday from 9.00 am to 10.00 am for the public to pay homage.
The dead body of Ramachandran Nair, who passed away at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai, was flown to Thiruvananthapuram by Saturday afternoon in a special flight. The dead body was received at Thiruvananthapuram by a team headed by Minister Mathew T Thomas and Chief Minister’s private secretary M V Jayarajan.
Homages were paid by the MLAs in the capital city, after which the dead body was taken to a mortuary at a private hospital.
After the public display on Monday, the dead body will be taken accompanied by a mourning procession to his residence at Cheriyanadu in Chengannur.
The cremation will happen on the same day evening.
