THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The entrance examinations for admission to various engineering courses in Kerala for the year 2018-19 will be conducted on April 23 and 24.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) published the prospectus for medical/engineering/architecture entrance examinations for the year on Wednesday. Applications for all the courses can be submitted online from February 1 to 28.

Printout of the applications and supporting documents should be submitted to the CEE’s office before March 31.

Admission to medical courses will be granted based on NEET scores. Those who appear for NEET should submit applications to the CEE as well to facilitate preparation of State-level rank list.

The government has slashed the application fee for all the courses and dropped the conditions relating to payment of compensation in engineering colleges, including self-financing ones.

Application fee can be paid online or at post offices using e-chalan.

Paper I (Physics and Chemistry) of the engineering entrance examinations will be held from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on April 23 and Paper II (Mathematics) from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on April 24. The engineering entrance examination will be conducted across 14 district centres in Kerala and in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Dubai.
