THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress executing committee member A K Antony has said that the brutal murder of Youth Congress leader T H Shuhaib is latest example of CPM terror.

In his statement, the senor Congress leader also complained that the poli9ce have become ineffective in front of the CPM terror.

“The CPM thinks they can do just anything under the protection of the power that they are enjoying now. They have proved yet again that they are not ready to forgo the murderous and blood-soaked politics that’s so ingrained in their blood. The people giving leadership to the government in the state itself is encouraging violence. The CM who is in charge of the home department and unable to ensure law and order in his own constituency has proved to be a terrible failure,” he said.

Antony further expressed his doubt whether the actual culprits behind the murder of Shuhaib will be caught and brought under law by the police who are unable to maintain law and order.

He also said that if the state government does not take any immediate measures to bring the culprits behind Shuhaib’s murder to justice, other means of investigation would be sought.

“Because of the back-to-back murders committed the BJP at the Centre and the CPM in power in Kerala, a peaceful life in the state has become impossible. Both the CPM and the BJP are two sides of the same coin when it comes to murderous and blood soaked politics. If the BJP is all about intolerance and communal fascism, the CPM is all about political intolerance.”
