KANHANGAD: Hours after a youth was found hanging in his room, his friend and neighbour too ended his life in Cheemeni. The two were identified as Vineesh, 26, son of Narayanan and Thankamani of Ramanchira and Arun, 24, son of Ramachandran and Kausalya. The police said Vineesh was found dead in his house on Saturday. His friend and neighbour Arun helped the family and also accompanied the body to Pariyaram Medical College where it was sent for post-mortem. Later, he returned to his house in the night. The next day morning, he was found hanging from the ceiling in the verandah. Vineesh was an electrician and Arun was an interlock titles worker. After the autopsy, both friends were cremated on Sunday. Cheemeni police have registered two cases of unnatural death and are probing them.
