South Indian actress Nayanthara is making a comeback to Mollywood through the film Kottayam Kurbana, whose script and dialogue are being penned by Unni R.

Newcomer Mahesh Vettiyar is directing the film which centres on a female character.

Though a new comer in Malayalam film industry, he has years of experience in Animation and Advertisement field.

“Unni is here with the next project after his Leela, Munnariyiopppu and Charlie. Claymation expert and ‘Thare Zameen Par’ fame Dimanth Vyas, National award winning animator Chethan Sharma, State Award Winner Appu Bhattathiri and cinematographer Madhu Neelakantan are uniting for the film.

Though Nayans has got lead roles in Aram, Maya, Nanum Raowdi than and Rajarani, she has not got a meaty role like this in Malayalam. Hence, it is believed that Kottayam Kurbana will be one of the best roles in her career.
