The last schedule of the shoot of the Nivin Pauly-starrer Kayamkulam Kochunni will begin on May 15 at Kandy in Sri Lanka. The schedule has been planned for ten days.

The roles of Nivin Pauly, Sunny Wein, Babu Antony, Kannada artiste Ashwini will be shot in this schedule. The scenes to be shot in Sri Lanka will be a recreation of incidents that happened in Kayamkulam in the 19th century.

Sri Lanka was chosen as a shooting location as climatic changes and modernisation had altered the topography of Kerala. Now the shoot is going on in Palakkad and it will get completed on Saturday. The plan is to release the film during Onam.

In the film, being directed by Roshen Andrews, Mohanlal will appear in the guest’ role (Ithikkara Pakki). The script is by Boby Sanjay and Priya Anand is the heroine. The camera is being cranked by 2 States, Rang De Basanthi, Munnabhai and Bhag Milka Bag.

The music is by Gopi Sundar; Editing: Sreekar Prasad and art direction is by Sunil Babu. Sree Gokulam Movies is producing the film.
