Mamankam is a film that will take back audience to the past history of Kerala. The new information is that Aravind Swamy will appear in an important role in the film. The second phase of the shoot will begin in Kochi on May 10.

According to reports, Aravind Swamy will join the sets soon. More details about the character have not been let out though.
This is not the first time that Mammootty and Aravind Swami are uniting.

In Aravind Swamy’s first film Dalapthi, Mammootty and Rajnikanth were heroes. He had acted in the Tamil version of Mammootty’s super hit film Bhaskar The Rascal. Swamy is making a comeback after a long time.

In the film being produced by New comer Sajeev Pillai, Prachi Desai is  the heroine. Neeaj Madhav and Queen Fame Dhruvan are having roles in the film. Venu Kunnambili is producing the film under the banner Kavya Films.

Mammootty will be appearing in four different get-ups including the one with female mannerisms. The art direction of the film is being done by Bahubali team. Action is being controlled by Kecha Kammpakdee.
