THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Following strong rains, district colletors in several parts of Kerala have declared holiday for schools in their respective districts on Wednesday.
 
Kaippuzha SKV LPS, Punnathra St Joseph high school, Ayarkunnam GLPS, Manarkkady GUPS schools and all educational instituions except professional colleges in Aarpookkara, Aymanam, Kumarakam and Thiruvarppu panchayats will remain closed on Wednesday.
 
Follwing heavy rains , all educational institutions at Attapadi in Palakkad district have been given holiday by the district collector. Both wednesday and Thursday will be holiday for schools in Kuttanadu Taluk.
 
Koodaranji, Karassery panchayat schools will also have holiday on Wednesday.
