THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Congress minister K C Joseph has come out against Congress leader V M Sudheeran for his tirades against certain Congress leaders including Oommen Chandy.

“Sudheeran who had raised the battle flag against the leadership has put the party in the dock. He was questioning the self-respect of party workers,” he said at a press conference.

Joseph said Sudheeran’s repeated challenge to party is painful and unfortunate. “A former KPPC chief should not have talked like this. Everyone had welcomed Sudheeran’s leadership and all had cooperated with him. But it was true that there was some issues within the party. Sudheeran once said that he had quit KPCC president post due to health reasons. What is the point in saying after one year that group politics was the reason for his resignation?,”  he said, adding he would not make more public comments, heeding to party’s instructions.
