PARIS: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was robbed of millions at gunpoint at a luxury residence here by masked men dressed as police officers.

The robbery took place at about 03:00 local time (01:00 GMT), reported BBC quoting local police. "The loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewelery. The total amount is still being evaluated," the police said.

According to reports there were as many as five people involved in the robbery, which is said to have taken place in a luxury residence and not a hotel as was reported earlier.

The "Keeping Up With The Karadashians" star, who has been in Paris for the Fashion Week, was unharmed physically. "She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," her representative said.

Kardashian, 35, had stayed at the residence, behind Paris's Madeleine church, in 2014.

Her husband Kanye West abruptly left the stage at Meadows Music & Arts Festival in Queens mid-song on Sunday night, telling fans, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Family emergency, I have to stop the show."

It's unclear where the couple's two children -- 3-year-old daughter North and nine-months-old son Saint, were at that time.
