Vyshak, who made the super hit film Pokkiriraja with Mammootty and Prithviraj in lead roles, is back with Raja 2. The punch dialogue of the character of Raja enacted by Mammootty in the film is still in the minds of the Keralites.

After the historic win of Pulimurugan, Vyshak is yet again teaming up with the same script writer Udayakrishna and producer Tomichan Mulakupadam. The film cooperating with the best technical experts of India and VFX will be shot in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages at the same time. This would be one of the largest big budget film of Mammootty. Meantime, Vyshak said the film is not a sequel of Pokkiriraja. The film portrays the continuity of the character Raja. Only the character of Raja is used in the new film. The story and other things would be entirely different. Raja 2 would be more vibrant.

I was able to reunite with Mamootty only after a gap of seven years. Whenever we meet, the actor would talk about the next film. He had asked me to take my own time but it should be a box office hit. I firmly believe that the film will rise up to his expectations. All possibilities of technology will be used in the film. Raja 2 would be a mass entertainer.

The shooting of the film is likely to start in April.
