THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said the party will launch a nationwide agitation against demonetization and the economic policies of the Centre. Addressing a public meeting, organized as part of the central committee meeting of the party here, Yechury said the BJP Government at the Centre should withdraw restrictions on cash withdrawal from banks introduced as part of the demonetization. “If the demonetization is a success, the BJP should withdraw all the restrictions on money withdrawals from the bank," he added. The party will launch a nationwide agitation against the anti-people policies of the centre, he said.
