THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Human Rights Commission has ordered Thrissur Police Supt to probe incidents that might have led to the suicide of engineering student Jishnu Pranoy.

Commission member K Mohan Kumar has asked Technical University Registrar and College principal to submit reports in this regard within two weeks. The Commission has also filed a case in the incident.    

Social activists Thampi Subramanyam and A H Hafeez had lodged a complaint stating that Jishnu was subjected to mental harassment that subsequently led to his suicide.
