KOCHI: KSU activists vandalized the office of the self-financing engineering college management association in Kundanoor. They took the extreme step in protest against the suicide of Jishnu Pranoy of Pambadi Nehru College.

The incident happened at 11 am this morning. The students protested at a time when the meet of new members of the association of self-financing engineering college managements was scheduled to take place. The activists damaged the window panes and doors of the office. The police reached and removed them from the place. However, association president Jory Mathew condemned their act.

He termed the incident as unfortunate. Talking to reporters before their office in Kundanoor, he asked the government to conduct a comprehensive probe. If found guilty, steps would be taken against the college management, he said.
