KOCHI: The solar commission Thursday permitted Saritha S Nair, accused in the solar case, to cross examine former chief minister Oommen Chandy. The commission permitted to cross examine him directly following her request.

Meantime, Chandy appeared before the commission today. He told them that he was aware of the sexual assault complaint of Saritha against former MP Abdullakutty. However, he said that he cannot reveal now on the steps taken. I know about Saritha’s new complaint lodged to the present government. I don’t know what steps they have taken, he told before the commission.

The commission had cross examined Chandy twice earlier. He was cross examined last on December 23. He had denied all the allegations then. Action was taken against the irregularities noticed and the project of team solar was not included in Emerging Kerala.
