THRISSUR: It has been decided to issue lookout notice against the accused in the case related to the death of Pampady Nehru College student Jishnu Pranoy.

The notice is being issued to find out five accused who have gone into hiding. Airports in the State have also been alerted to prevent any escape bid by them.

Police had filed a non-bailable case against five college staff including former Nehru College chairman P Krishna Das, who is accused number one.

Nehru College vice-principal Dr. N K Shakthivel, College Internal Invigilator Assistant Professor C P Praveen, PRO Sanjith Viswanathan, Dipin, teacher in charge of examination duties are accused from number two to five.

Meanwhile, the police are trying to retrieve CCTV clippings that had been deleted; the hard disk concerned has been sent for forensic lab test.

On Thursday, forensic experts had spotted blood stains in vice-principal’s room. Similar stains were also found in Jishnu’s hostel room, bathroom and college PRO’s room. From this, police have come to the conclusion that Jishnu might have been beaten up in his room.
