KANNUR: Payyanur police today arrested two RSS workers, when they surrendered before the Payannur JFCM , today , in connection with the murder of CPI(M) worker C V Dhanaraj of Kunnaravu. According to police, they arrested K M Biju (34) of Alakkad and C Biju (32) of Choorakkad near Payyanur. Both of them are listed as eighth and twelve accused in the charge sheet. Police registered case against 20 BJP/RSS workers in this case and arrest toll to rose to 15. All the arrested were released under bail. Five more RSS workers listed in accused list are still absconding. Police arrested Ajeesh (28) alias Kannan of Parasuvakkal near Parasala in Thiruvananthapuram district with the help of cyber cell by tracing his mobile phone records on November 24, last year. He was also released on bail. It was on July 11, night CPI(M) worker Dhanaraj (34) was hacked to death at Kunnaravu around 2230 hours in front of his house, following this a BMS local leader KC Ramachandran (52) of Anoor was also hacked to death within two hours. Several houses, shops and vehicles of BJP/RSS workers also came into attack as alleged retaliation to the murder of Dhanaraj by CPI (M) activists on July 12 wee hours. Police arrested eight CPI (M) workers in connection with the murder of BMS worker K C Ramachnaran.
