       Two injured in truck accident

KOCHI: Two persons suffered injuries after a lorry carrying wood logs flipped to a side near Kacherithazham, leading to a traffic gridlock in Muvattupuzha town.

The injured are Abu, driver of the truck, and Shahul Hameed, his assistant. The incident took place around 7 am. The lorry was on its way to Perumbavoor.

“The lorry was overloaded with wood, and the driver lost control while applying brakes. The driver and his assistant were rushed to a nearby hospital,” officials said.
