THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  The first anniversary of the Pinarayi government will be celebrated from May 20 to June 5 with various programmes. The chief minister will officially inaugurate the function on May 25 at 5:30 pm at Nisha Gandhi Auditorium.

Minister E Chandrasekharan will preside the function. At a press conference here on Friday, Minister Kadakampally Surendran said people from different fields will light 1000 diyas.

The water authority employees will be honoured on the occasion. Following this, there will be a big band by Balabaskar, Mattannoor Shankarankutty, , Ranjith Barott and Fazal Quereshi.
