THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The girl who is involved in the Swamy Gangeshananda case has sought a CBI inquiry into the incident that led to the chopping of swamy’s genital. She filed a petition in this regard at Thiruvananthapuram POCSO court on Saturday.

“I have no trust in the current police investigation into the case. I was forced by policemen to give several false statements,” she said in her complaint.

A telephonic conversation purportedly belonging to the girl had emerged on Friday in which it is said that she had not deliberately cut off the genital.

“Swmay has not sexually assaulted me. The case was made after my lover Ayyappadas created some misunderstanding. Ayyappadas had some grudge against Swamy. Two days before the incident, Ayyappadas came to me and gave me the knife. He asked me to cut Swamy’s genital. He first said he would himself hide under the cot and attack him but later asked me to do that. That day he forced me to go near swamy. I took out the knife and brandished it at swamy. As the room was dark I didn’t know what happened to him. I thought it might have caused an injury on his stomach but never fathomed that 90 pc of his genital would get cut. Ayyappadas himself asked me to inform the police and the statement was given as told by the police,” she tells Defence Counsel Shasthamangalam Ajith over phone.

The girl however, says Swamy and her mother had no sexual relationship. The claim that she was often abused by the Swamy and her family was financially exploited was wrong.
