THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mimicry, dubbing artist and film actor Kalabhavan Sajan died here Monday. He was 50. He died while undergoing treatment for liver ailments at the medical college hospital in the capital city. He was a native of Kothamangalam. His picture lying on the floor in the hospital was seen in a Malayalam daily recently. He suffered a lot during his last days.

There was a complaint that the hospital authorities failed to provide the artist, who was in a coma stage, any better treatment. The artist admitted in a private hospital for high fever was shifted to the medical college hospital Friday afternoon. From then, he was lying on the floor at the 2nd ward. The hospital authorities later provided him a bed which was not clean.

He came to the dubbing field by giving voice to late actor Sukumaran in the film Shibiram. He had worked as a dubbing artist for almost 20 films and various serials. Sajan gave voice to villain characters in many of Allu Arjun films remade into Malayalam. He had also acted in Stalin Sivadas, a Mammootty film.
