KOCHI: Reports say that the police have found the original memory card, which is considered as a crucial evidence in connection with the case of the actress getting attacked in Kochi.

The police retrieved the memory card from the custody of advocate Raju Joseph, who works as a junior to Pulsar Suni’s previous advocate Prateesh Chacko. The police took him in custody the other day. He was then taken to the Aluva Police Club where he was questioned under the supervision of senior officers, and it was during this interrogation that Raju Jospeh gave information about the memory card to the police.

There are also reports that there are no visuals or images in this memory card. The police will send this memory card for a forensic analysis. The forensic lab would check the memory card to see whether the visuals and images were removed from it or are they still hidden in it.

Earlier, the police had found two memory cards during their investigation but they were not original.

Meanwhile the police have got information that the phone with which the attack of the actress was recorded has been moved abroad, but this news is not officially verified. The police is trying to find out through whom was the phone moved abroad, and other things like whether the phone was destroyed, or were the videos and images were transferred to other electronic devices. The cyber police is keeping a close watch on video streaming websites like YouTube to prevent the videos from getting uploaded into the public domain.

Pulsar Suni had earlier said in his statement that he had handed over the phone used to record the attack of the actress to his former advocate Prateesh Chacko at his office in Ernakulam on February 23.

Though the police searched the office and the residence of Chacko, they could not find the mobile phone but just a bag.

The police have found out that Pulsar Suni went to meet Prateesh Chacko as per the directions of Dileep. Nevertheless, Dileep has said that he has no knowledge of the phone used to record the attack of the actress.
