THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Women’s Commission will register a case against P C George MLA for making a defamatory reference against the actress, who was attacked in Kochi. Commission chairperson M C Josephine said they decided to take a case against him for his statements hurting womanhood. A letter requesting Speaker to permit them to register George’s statement will be given soon.

George had asked that if the actress had been subjected to cruel physical and sexual abuse, how she could act the next day. The actress had stated that she was attacked in the manner Nirbhaya was attacked in Delhi. If that is the case, she should clarify the hospital in which she had taken treatment. Actor Dileep is innocent in the case, George had stated.
