The film Syamandakam, announced years ago by Hariharan with Prithviraj in the pivotal role, is becoming a topic of discussion once again. The director says he has not abandoned the project. Prthviraj will appear as Sree Krishna in the film.

Krishna here will not be a foreseer but a warrior and lover, says Hariharan.

The script is also being written by Hariharan. He said it was not yet decided in which language the film should be made. Details of casting and other things would be informed later.

Other than Krishna, two epical characters are awaiting Prithviraj. They are the title role in R S Vimal’s Karnan and Viji Thampi’s Veluthampi Dalava.

Jinu Abraham’s Adam John and Pradeep Nair’s Vimanam are new Prithviraj starrers ready for release.
