THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actress Bhama, in a recent interview to a magazine, talked about an actor, who allegedly had tried to ruin her cinema life.    That day she didn’t reveal the actor’s name. But soon after the actress assault incident began to grab headlines, the news started spreading that the person Bhama mentioned was Dileep, who is now in jail. It was then that Bhama decided to come out with explanation.

Bhama says on her Facebook page that she has come out with explanations to clear the misunderstanding over her statement in the interview. She says that the actor she had mentioned was not Dileep. She seeks to distance herself from the report written by a senior journalist and makes an earnest request not to fabricate news.

“When I was shooting for Ivar Vivahitharayal, its director Saji Surendran had told me that some were trying to snatch away my opportunities. This was what I had told the journalist. I had also told him that I was shocked to know the name of that actor. When Saji Surendran told me about this, I didn’t take it seriously. I wondered whether I also had enemies in cinema. Some time ago, on the sets of Marupadi, its director Vinu told me that before the shooting began, one actor had called him up and told him to remove me from the film or else I will turn a big head-ache for him. Being prodded, he revealed the name of my ‘enemy’. I was shocked since he was one of the persons for whom I have highest respect,” she explains.
