Anyone who has seen the super blockbuster ‘Baahubali’ duology will never forget Bhallaladeva, played by Rana Daggubati. His performance as the main antagonist was on par with, and at times even overshadowed the role of the title role played by Prabhas.

Reports from the tinsel town now suggest that Rana has signed the contract to portray the role of the mythological villain character Hiranyakashipu in a movie being directed by Gunasekhar.

The preproduction work of the movie is ongoing. Gunasekhar approached Rana after the release of ‘Baahubali 2’.

Anyways, all Rana fans are waiting with bated breath to see their favourite star wielding the sword as the mythological Hiraynakashipu who sent tremors down the spines of all Devas.

Rana’s latest release was ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’, which was a political thriller.
