MALAPPURAM: The police have arrested two persons in connection with the murder of RSS worker Bipin Kundil at Tirur. Thufail, 33, from Paravanna, and Mohammed Anwar, 39, from Thriprangode were arrested on Friday in connection with the murder. Bipin’s body was found by the roadside at Pulinchode, near Tirur, in the morning a few days ago. He was hacked by a gang apparently in vengeance for his role in the killing of P. Faizal at Kodinhi, near Tirurangadi, on November 19 last year. Bipin was the second accused in the murder of Faizal. He was out on bail. The police said the two arrested were involved in a conspiracy to kill Bipin. They said they had identified the killers and arrests would be made soon.
