KOCHI: Amidst the uncertainty over interrogating actor-filmmaker Nadirsha, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has begun attempts to find out whether Sunil Kumar, aka ‘Pulsar’ Suni, prime accused in the actor’s abduction and sexual assault case, had received money from the filmmaker.

During interrogation, Suni told investigators that he had met Nadirsha’s manager at Thodupuzha, at the location of Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan, and collected Rs 25,000 from him. The revelation comes even as Dileep, currently lodged In the Aluva sub-jail, is slated to approach the High Court once again seeking a bail.

“He is said to have visited the location as per Dileep’s directive. We have traced the location of his mobile phone to Thodupuzha on the said date,” officials said.

However, sleuths are yet to confirm whether Nadirsha had information on Suni’s visit to the shooting location and collection of money from his manager. The filmmaker has already approached the High Court seeking an anticipatory bail.

Meanwhile, the SIT was unable to examine the visitor’s regisster book at the residence of Dileep’s wife and actor Kavya Madhavan in Kochi. As per the statement, Suni used to record his name and phone number at the register there on every occassion. Though the police had earlier interrogated the personnel guarding Kavya’s residence, they stated that these register books had been destroyed in heavy rain.
