THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former investigating officer DGP A Hemachandran, who was heavily criticised in the Solar Commission report, has visited Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday.

Sources close to the Cliff House has said that Hemachandran has expressed his dissatisfaction at the commission report to the CM.

Hemachandran was also insulted by reposting him as KSRTC MD after he was criticised in the commission report. This meeting comes before the government to could take further actions.

Hemachandran, who was the investigating team’s head, had given an affidavit in the sitting criticising the commission. He gave the affidavit on January 8, while he was serving as the fire force chief. He had said, in his affidavit, that the commission was eager to find fault with the police proceedings by asking misleading questions and hiding relevant facts. This might have provoked the commission to turn against the investigating team.

The other members of the investigation team also feels that the commission, which is aware of all the legal angles, tried to put them in the dock with their biased approach.

The members of the investigation team has also alleged that the commission that included all the allegations made by Saritha S Nair, has included letters as evidence instead of factual findings.
