         Three heroines for Mammootty    
There will be three heroines in the Mammootty film being directed by Ajay Vasudev with college campus as the background. The three heroines are Varalekshmi Sharat Kumar, Poonam Bajva and Mahima Nambiar. Varalekshmi had earlier acted with the mega star in Kasaba. Poonam, too, had paired up with him in Vennisile Vyapari and Shikari. But for Mahima this will be the comeback film after her debut in Karyasthan.

         Mohanlal's Randamoozham to be made on Rs 1000 crore budget    
CHENNAI: A UAE-based Indian businessman is investing Rs 1,000 crore (USD 150 million) to produce India's biggest ever motion picture, 'The Mahabharata'. This magnum opus is being directed by noted ad man and advertising film maker V A Shrikumar Menon. It will be produced in two parts and is scheduled to go on the floors by September 2018 for a release in early 2020. The second part will be released within 90 days of the first.

         Pulimurugan’s 3D screening tomorrow    
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pulimurugan 3D will be screened at Angamaly Adlux theatre on Wednesday with the aim of achieving the Guiness record of the first 3D film to be watched by more than 20,000 people. The show will begin at 5pm. Entry will be through free passes. The current record is more than 6000 people watching a 3D film.
